When CBS announced last week that it would not order another season of Ghost Whisperer, fans held out hope that the show’s spirit would hang around long enough for another network to give it a new life. ABC seemed like the mostly likely option (ABC studios co-owns the show with CBS), and execs at the network were reportedly weighing their options when it came to picking up the Jennifer Love Hewitt series.
But, sadly, it seems that that Ghost Whisperer really is dead: Entertainment Weekly reports that ABC has officially decided not to add the series to their fall schedule.
